1. Agreement

By using Pelletgrill & Smoker (“the site”), operated by Iron Mako Media, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. What the content is

Editorial opinion and research about pellet grills, pellet smokers, wood pellets and related accessories. Our rankings are judgments based on published manufacturer specifications, live retailer price data, warranty terms and publicly reported owner experience, weighted according to the method published on how we pick.

3. What the content is not

• It is editorial research, not a laboratory measurement. Recommendations are built from published specifications, written warranty terms and verified owner feedback, and the full method is on how we pick.
• It is not a substitute for the manufacturer’s instructions. Always follow the manual that came with your grill, particularly on assembly, electrical connection, clearances and fire safety.
• It is not professional advice of any kind — not safety, not legal, not financial, not dietary.
• It is not a guarantee of price or availability. Prices come from the retailer and change constantly; the price on their page at checkout is the one that counts.

4. Safety

Pellet grills are mains-powered appliances that burn wood and produce open flame, high temperatures, smoke and carbon monoxide. You use them entirely at your own risk and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and your local fire regulations.

In particular, nothing on this site should be read as permission to ignore a lease clause, a fire code, an HOA rule, or a manufacturer’s clearance requirement. Our page on apartment and balcony rules explains what to check; it does not tell you what your local rules are, because we cannot know them.

Where we discuss food safety — for example what to do if your grill runs out of pellets mid-cook — we are not a food-safety authority, and we say so on the page. When in doubt, discard the food.

5. Accuracy and changes

We make a genuine effort to be accurate, we cite our sources on every page, and we correct errors and note the correction when they are pointed out — see our editorial policy. We do not warrant that the site is free from error, complete, or current at the moment you read it.

Specifications, model availability and prices change without notice. Products discussed here may be discontinued or revised after publication.

6. Affiliate links

The site contains affiliate links and earns commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. This is disclosed on every page carrying commercial links and in full on affiliate disclosure.

Any purchase you make is a contract between you and the retailer, not with us. We are not a party to it, we cannot see your order, and we cannot assist with orders, deliveries, returns or warranty claims.

7. Third-party sites and trademarks

We link to manufacturer and retailer sites for citations and purchases. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their terms or their privacy practices.

Pit Boss, Traeger, Z Grills, Camp Chef, Amazon and all other brand names, product names and trademarks mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any grill manufacturer. Product names are used for identification and comparison only.

8. Intellectual property

The written content, rankings, scoring method and site design are the property of Iron Mako Media and may not be reproduced in substantial part without permission. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back.

Product images are supplied through the retailer’s own catalog program and remain the property of the retailer or manufacturer. Ambient photography is licensed stock, credited in our records.

9. Limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Iron Mako Media is not liable for any loss or damage — including property damage, personal injury, or financial loss — arising from your use of the site, from reliance on its content, or from any product you purchase through it.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site at a rate that burdens it, republish substantial portions of the content, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages.

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when published, and the date at the top of this page will change.
